Last year, 10 investment-ready companies made up the inaugural cohort of the China Angels Mentorship Program (CAMP). Those first 10 companies have already generated close to $6 million in follow-on investments including $1.6 million from CCAA.

“This is a great opportunity for these promising Ontario-based start-ups to meet with businesses and investors in China, share ideas and build partnerships that further allow our companies to stay committed to being global competitors and collaborators in innovation.” said Reza Moridi, Minister of Research, Innovation and Science. “I am pleased with the strong partnership between OCE and the CCAA and look forward to their continued support for Ontario’s growth in trade and investment with China.”
Mr. Zhishuo (Peter) Liu, Founder and President of CCAA said from Bejiing the program literally brings everyone to the table that needs to be there. “We’ve got entrepreneurs, mentors and investors all talking to each other which is what doing business is really all about.”
